Your Hosts
Lonny & Thomas Jeszenszky
That´s us: Lonny & Thomas
and our 3 grown up "Children",
(who moved out into their own flats):
♥ Konstantin ♥ Valérie ♥ Susanna
and their partners and friends.
HISTORY:
B&B Villa Magnolia is a
“Living Personality”, constantly changing.
And it is nourished by many who help us and wish all the best.
To all of them: This is the moment to say “THANK YOU” from all our heart!
Our family moved from Austria to Switzerland in the year 1986.
We have lived in Richterswil since then at several locations: A flat, an old Swiss chalet, a semidetached house...
Thomas finally sold his greenland in Austria and we bought this house in Chrüzweg 18 in the year 2000 from a family who lived here with much love. We tried to continue to do so the same way.
Since then we have renovated the house, planting in the garden, caring for small details.
We were assisted by our three meanwhile grown-up children.
They still do so - even after they all moved out in the year 2005 - they help whenever urgency demands support and with whatever is the task... together with their partners and friends.
They encouraged us to continue with the change of their home into a B&B
- a cosy home for our guests.
They assisted physically and with good ideas - each in his/her individual way
as did also our dear housekeeping lady, the craftsmen, our neighbours and guests.
Without all these contributions, the place would not be as charming as it is and what it is meant to be:
An oasis for all those who discover it and who love to share with us ... Thank YOU!!
We, Lonny & Thomas are
"LEBENSKÜNSTLER"
living a traditional modest lifestyle and believing in
DO-IT-YOURSELF with LOVE & PASSION".
We grew up in old houses
Lonny in Germany in Ziegelsdorf near COBURG ( FRANKONIA) and
Thomas in AUSTRIA near Salzburg:
In Schloß Kammer am ATTERSEE
- pictures see below.
We experienced the entire spectrum of the rainbow:
We learned to live a modest farmer's life with all duties, helped in the fields and the horsestables. We were trained hard from childhood onwards as farmers and also to celebrate glamourous social events as hosts.
We lived in cold old castles with summer concerts and in cosy farm - manoirs, where everything is homemade.
In Schloß Kammer am Attersee (view pictures below) we organised events for a whole region, weddings, Rotary evenings, VIP events with first class catering and harp music. In summer the Jeszenszky family hosted classical concerts in the castle - celebrated by candle light (400 seats) with Salzbug Solists and other international artists continuing the tradition of Eleonora v.Mendelssohn and Emmerich v.Jeszenszky
We have travelled the world, stayed on simple camping grounds, slept in backpacker inns, student lodges... but later in our live also managed to enjoy the VIP service in the world´s leading luxury hotels.
Now the world comes to us - and we love to share with YOU
"Our little Swiss Fairy Tale" that we live in our home.
