NO CONTACT with our dogs - except you wish to do so.
But... if you are afraid of dogs, this is not the right place to stay.
You may feel uncomfortable, and this would be a pity. Many of our guests choose our house because of the GREAT DANES.
Our two elegant GREAT DANES
♥ SAMBUCO and ♥ AMANDA
live as family members in our private rooms. They have their own "dog-garden" - separate from our guests.
If you sit in the garden, the dogs remain inside the house.
All CONTACTS ( or the lack thereof ) are COORDINATED with our guests.

i.e. We have to know, when you are
INSIDE or OUTSIDE of the house,
when we go for a walk with them.

- IF YOU WISH TO CONTACT OUR DOGS
we perform at CHECK-IN or later an introduction to them - so that they perceive you as familymember.
If you take time for a contact, we show you how to deal with these giants - as we did in the last years to many children and B&B guests who were curious to meet them..(see â–º guestbook).

- CONTACT with our DOGS (ONLY if You wish to do so):
- If You meet our dogs PLEASE WAIT, REMAIN CALM and DO NOT WAVE YOUR ARMS.
- The dogs could interpret this, that you want to play with them and their answer to you could be a "stormy" one .
- Even if they just want to show you their joy - they are GENTLE but GIANTS (55kg/65kg)
Under our supervision , many guests took beautiful photos like of race-horses speeding ...

were the "chamber dogs" of royalty in days of old. Their sheer presence is impressing and conveys dignity, serenity and calm, power and gentleness if we allow them to show us their gentleness.
